ChemSkills - Training UNIBA - Industrial IoT and Smart Systems Training

This modular training provides an introduction to the Internet of Things (IoT) with a focus on industrial applications and smart systems. The course is designed for both technical and non-technical participants and introduces key concepts such as IoT architecture, sensors and devices, connectivity, data collection, and real-time monitoring.

The training emphasizes practical applications in industrial environments, including smart manufacturing, predictive maintenance, energy optimization, and integration with enterprise systems such as ERP and MES platforms. Participants will also become familiar with cybersecurity challenges, data management, and scalability of IoT solutions.

The course combines lectures, practical examples, discussions, and case studies to help participants understand, evaluate, and support IoT solutions in real-world industrial and organizational environments.
