ALBATTS - Batteries Second Life and Recycling

This unit is structured in 4 modules, where you will learn about the recycling of batteries its importance, the different processes of recycling and the environmental concerns. Additionally, some 2nd life applications will be identified, as well as the way to collect and sort batteries.

At the end of this training unit, you will be able to:

• Explain the importance of battery recycling
• Compare the different recycling processes
• Recognize the environmental impacts of different types of battery recycling processes
• Discuss the reasons for battery second life use
