Teachers' Course on Hydrogen in Mobility

Are you a vocational education and training (VET) teacher passionate about the future of hydrogen in mobility?  Join us for the Hydrogen VET Forum at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit during the FIA World Endurance Championship!

 

This exclusive event is your chance to:

• Learn about hydrogen technology, including fuel cells, hydrogen combustion engines, and safety protocols.
• Engage with peers, industry experts and racing teams pioneering hydrogen-powered vehicles.
• Witness live demonstrations of hydrogen prototypes in action during the championship.
• Bring cutting-edge insights back to your classrooms and training programmes

Participation and training programme:

The Forum consists of four parts:

1. Pre-register here: Registration Form.
   1. Deadline: March 23, 2026. You will be enrolled. Only then you can move to step 2.
2. Online courses (March/April 2026): Complete two online modules to earn your digital badge and secure your spot for the in-person event. This will take 1 to 2 days with the aim to give the participants enough basic knowledge of the hydrogen aspects and applications before the physical event in Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium).
3. In-person training selection will take place only among candidates having completed the pre-courses.
4. In-person training (May 8–9, 2026): Join us in Spa for two days of hands-on learning, networking, and exclusive access to the FIA WEC event. Click here to view the forum programme.

Cost:

• The online courses and training at Spa are free of charge.
• Participants will pay for their own travel, accommodation and dinners. This can for example be financed by the schools’ own Erasmus+ Mobility projects.

 

Important notes:

• Spaces are limited, and selection will be based on pre-registration and completion of online courses. Upon selection to on-site participation, you commit to attend the event. Be aware that Erasmus+ Mobility funding can be used for that purpose.
• Wait for confirmation before booking travel or accommodation
• Certification/Micro-credential is awarded only to those who complete both the online and in-person modules.

The Hydrogen VET forum in Spa is an initiative launched by Automobile Club de l’Ouest[1], FIA World Endurance Championship, MissionH24 and its partners: Automotive Skills Alliance[2], GreenSkillsforH2[3], and Hydrogen Europe Research[4].
